The other day the twins were running back and forth between their bedroom to ours. I was folding laundry and watching them but of course in the blink of an eye something happened. Earlier Derby had pulled Loen’s hair and she started wailing like a banshee (as usual), after breaking them up they were back to chasing each other around. This time they ran into our bathroom which they love to do. I don’t know if they’re secretly hoping I’ll give them another bath or they just like to visit their bath toys who knows. After going in there a second time I hear a thud and a cry. I see Loen lying on top of Derby and it looks like she tripped over him. She is doing her usual the sky is falling cry and Im trying to cheer her up. I put her in the laundry basket for a ride down the hall but even that didn’t cheer her up, then I see the blood. Im not overly worried because she bitten her tongue a number of times and I know how much that can bleed combined with a drooly kid. Then I see that there is a shard of tooth hanging off the front and blood is coming from the gum line. Damn! She chipped her two front teeth. Right then Tadd drives up and I call the Dentist. I guess if you’re going to chip your teeth that would be the time to do it. Even though it was 5:05 they told us to bring her in. Long story short no bad damage, her tooth is a little wiggly and they wont repair the chip as grinding it down would be more traumatic to her than leaving it be. Now she looks snaggletoothed like her Uncle Iain.
