I have written before about my godson Cole who passed away at 21 months. Cole’s mom, my cousin, Brandy has been active in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society before and after his death. She was recently nominated for the Jefferson Award for her charity work. I wanted to post her acceptance speech and to say congratulations once again to Brandy.

Brandy should be proud of all she has accomplished for LLS. That was an incredible, heartfelt speech. Congratulations, Brandy!
