Sometimes you just have to sigh….. I have been trying to get as many things done in advance when the twins are playing quietly together. Like prepare bottles, lay out pj’s clean up toys, etc. So tonight after dinner I got everything ready for bed ahead of time. Pj’s, diapers and toothbrushes were ready to go in their room, the bath water was ready (Loen had once again rubbed food into her hair. She thinks it is hilarious especially when you say no, no, no) all I had to do was get the kids out of the play yard. When I went down I could tell someone had pooped, so I changed the offender. I decided I wouldn’t put a diaper on Loen since we were going right upstairs for their bath. I left her standing by the changing table while I got Derby. In those measly 3 seconds she was unattended she peed on the floor by the bar stools and was splashing in it. I grabbed a diaper cloth to mop it up and wipe off Loens hands. I was so thankful that the bath water was ready to go. I got them all in the tub. I thought “Ok take a breath everything is back under control”. Until Loen decides to splash and this got Derby giggling. He decides to splash and the next thing I know there is water everywhere and they are cracking up….bath time is over. Out of the bath, teeth are brushed and off to bed for those two. I head downstairs to disinfect the pee area. As I move the bar stool I realize the pee had spread to the felt pads on the chair, they are soaked. Uggggh. Finally everything is cleaned up and I plop on the couch to drink a beer and watch a trashy show on TLC. This is when I really hate tax season!
Did I mention they are really into pulling things out of boxes (ie: wipes, kleenex) this happened in a matter of seconds.

“I didn’t know I was pregnant”. I love when they do the reenactment and show a 4 month old baby covered in blood as the “newborn” born at a campsite.

Jackie watched that show on TV and was telling me about it–it’s just crazy! Anyway, this post cracked both Brent an I up—boy does it sound familiar to us!!
