Would you believe I spent almost 2 weeks searching for a Wii fit? It was like the Cabbage Patch Crisis of ’84 all over again. Anyways I was ready to throw in the towel. While Derby was at therapy I casually mentioned to the physical therapist how everyone was out. I had called all the game stores, Costco and Sears repeatedly on the off chance they had gotten a shipment. She said she saw some the other day at a small gaming store in Goleta. As soon as therapy was over I called them and they had one left. Now this is where I get overly excited. Rather than ask the guy to hold it for me , I make a mangled squeal and hang up. We got the last one and I didn’t have to trample anyone to get it.
Birthday morning we gave the daddy a couple of small house gifts (like coasters and a couple of beer goblets he wanted). I kept apologizing it wasn’t more exciting but he said he was happy.
Daddy I picked out the card. Loen had nothing to do with it.

Then I picked up Derby and said:
What is that Derby? You hid a gift for Daddy under your crib?
Tadd got excited so I think he knew what it was.

Daddy I want you to know it was MY idea to get the Wii Fit. Loen had nothing to do with it.

That night Fauxma and Fauxpa watched the twins so we could go out to dinner. You can tell we are parents now because they said not to worry, go out, have fun! Yeah we lasted till 8:30 then came back to get them. I had dessert, I was tired, I missed the kids. Ditto for the daddy. We are pathetic!

Happy Belated B-day, Tadd! Looks like it was a good one! The two of you looked so great on your date night. I bet all of the chubby moms are jealous of you, Hava. You have 2 beautiful babies, a wonderful husband, and you are hot and skinny
