What we did on Saturday that will forever scar Loen and Tadd. (Ok that is a little melodramatic)
Trip to the zoo from The Tadpoles on Vimeo.
The best part is that after I calmed Loen down I look up to see our Child Development Specialist at the zoo with her daughter. Tadd mutters “Just call CPS (Child Protective Services) on me now”.

Poor Loen, good thing they bounce, that is what I learned from my niece and her many many many falls. The kiddies are so cute, even after the face plant!

Gosh! I was expecting some wild animal attacking Tadd and Loen……..but can imagine Tadd feeling really bad over little Loen’s shock & nose being scratched. Sometimes I wonder how my kids survived in the 1950′s without car belts & seats & all the safety offered now — I can recall one time when John and Nelson were standing in the front seat while I had to brake real fast, and my long arm went over to catch them but didn’t quite reach to John — he went flying into the car’s front pads (thank heaven’s for Buick’s pads). He never wanted to ride in the front seat again. Love your videos. Thanks! Love to All, Grandma

I like the defiant element of this, like, “Ya, my kid face planted… here’s a video! Here’s slo-mo!” The brilliant part is that we’ve all been the cause of some toddler’s nose dive, so who’ll cast stones? Thank god babies are basically rubber.
