I wonder if those without children realize how hard it is to get a good picture when there is more than one kid in the shot. It doesn’t even have to be multiples, I’m sure if you ask a parent who has a few kids under the age of 5 trying to get a group shot can make you want to pull your hair out.
I have been trying to get a good shot so I can make thank you cards but Loen has had other plans. Ones that do not include sitting contentedly beside her brother and smiling.
It makes me think of those shots of a blurry Bigfoot walking in the background

Trying to take a picture before she decides to nose dive off the rocker.

I tried to use a jack in the box to hold their attention. Derby looks drugged in this picture. Loen is apprehensive.

Yup, she is sure she doesn’t like a monkey popping out of a tin box.

Prime example of how they dont want their picture taken

Occasionally after 200 pictures I can salvage a few.
Derby

Loen

I like how it looks she is reading to him

Derby warp speed

Loen is frightened they are being sucked into a black hole

Well there is always tomorrow….

All you need is someone behind you doing the chicken dance! Didn’t you learn that from your ten years with my boys when we were trying to get Christmas card pictures? I volunteer. I learned the dance from you. xxxx

I think you already have a great pic. The one of the two of them in the swing is my new all time favorite! How adorable. By the way, I agree how difficult it is to get a good pic with two. One was hard enough. In fact, I have been thinking that my Christmas card will have to be one that has two places for pictures so that I can take individual photos and put them on the same card!

I ageee. I like the picture in the swing. They look so sweet and innocent. I do like what you did with the warped pictures though too. Ok, I like them all.
