Update on the update

So we finally got the test results back and he doesn’t have RSV. Still sounds like a sad little wheezy boy but otherwise is a happy baby. He cracks me up doing the breathing treatments because he will try and chew on the mask and then he has started making this new Frankenstein noise of “raaaaarrrrwwwwwww, raaaaaarrww”. You can hear it muffled through the mask.

Loen has been a trouper through all of this. When I took Derby in for a recheck Friday morning she was in the stroller for most of the time. Fauxma offered to watch her but I hated to impose on her again, especially after yesterday when she stayed and helped with the babies for HOURS. She says she loves it but I don’t want to wear out our favorite helper. Loen has just been my little wild girl. Talking, crawling, cruising on everything. We are just hoping she doesn’t get what Derby has!

Jim held Derby during his breathing treatment and he fell asleep midway

We were all pretty lethargic this morning. Tadd is still recovering from the October 15th tax deadline. He was working 18-20 hour days towards the end.

Loen being still for a second

Seriously, who wouldn’t want to spend as much time as possible with these two little angels? They are so cute and extremely entertaining! Loen told me that she would rather have Fauxma come over and hang out in the kiddie corral than sit in her stroller during Derby’s doctor visits. Also, Derby told me he would rather have Fauxma snuggle and tickle him than go to his doctor visits. So there you have it . . . it’s unanimous!

A GREAT BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LOEN AND DERBY! Fauxpa and Fauxbros wanted me to tell the babies that they love them and can’t wait for their big party!

God certainly blessed all of us with these two little miracles!

All my love, hugs, and kisses! Fauxma D

Hi. My mom, Donna, used to work with Tadd–I live in Michigan. I have been keeping up with your blog for a long time and love to hear about and see the pictures of Derby and Loen. The last one about Derby needing to be on a Nebulizer brings back memories of my daughter Hannah. She started with that when she was six months old. We finally got a handle on it (she was diagnosed with asthma–respiratory illness induced–when she was between 3 and 5) a couple of years ago (she is 11 now). I always feel bad when I hear that another little one is going through that. We ended up purchasing the Nebulizer when all of that first started and that was one of our best purchases.

Anyway, I hope that both of the kids are on the mend. My kids and I will be coming to Santa Barbara to visit my mom and dad in April during their Spring break. If it is possible and you would not mind I would love to meet Derby and Loen in person (along with you and Tadd of course!).
