Dear Hava and Tadd, I stumbled on your blog a few weeks ago when I was googling for pictures of that guy in Flock of Seagulls! As a fellow parent with only a few more years’ experience than you, I can remember the insanity and euphoria of making homemade birth announcements with premie latched onto breast (wth was I thinking??? … but they sure turned out nice, and the baby did too ), and I can also tell you it does get easier and better and “realer.” Maybe more intuitive, too–some days anyway. You will NOT get duller over time. You will NOT lose your identity. You will flourish; your writing and photos show your amazing spirit. You will continually come to see how YOUR family does twins, not how some poor haggard wacked-out family in a book does it. Just take it hour by hour, and when in doubt kiss the babies. That rock star pose is the best. They’re too young to be such hams for the camera! Congrats on having everyone at home, happy and healthy. I only have my little Allistair and no way was I awake and sane enough to make cupcakes in the first month he was home. Don’t wear yourself out too quickly!

The BEST post! Seeing the monitors turned off truly touched me. After watching Cole on Monitors for 2 years its so refreshing to see children not needing them anymore.

Your family photo leaving the hospital of course made me tear up. A beautiful moment!

Kaylee, my 2 year old, just said “They are pretty” while looking at the last picture of the twins napping. I agree! I just noticed how much Loen looks like Tadd! Hava, I will be thinking about you while I am up with my 2 week old, Paige, in the middle of the night. Thaks for the pictures and the updates. How great to see the twins at home!
