Just a real quick update - we finally brought Loen home last night. I didn’t think it was too bad, but Hava would be a better indicator as I believe she was up more than I was. Also, today marks the babies due date. We wouldn’t have made it this far in the pregnancy if everything went well, but it is still a date that we will always remember.
Today is also exactly 4 months since our crazy journey started. We are truly amazed at how far the babies and both of us have come since then. Thank you to everybody who has provided help and support during that time. I am not sure how we would have made it to this point without your dedication to our family.

Yeah!!!!! Welcome home Loen!!!!
I seem to remember thinking when Grant came home…”Well, at least at the NICU they put him on a 3 hour feeding schedule for me”…..HOWEVER, they are just SO smart and when they realize they can have milk FROM MOMMY WHENEVER they want, they seem to change their schedule to an every hour or so feeding schedule! hahahahahha
I’m sure you will love every minute of those feedings. Get sleep while she naps Hava..seriously. People also gave me that advice and it is worth heeding! Congratulations guys on bringing home that little girl. We are so happy for all of you. Let us know if we can do anything to help (or provide a house to sit at while you trek back and forth to be with Derby–if you don’t want to bring Loen into the hospital waiting room). Hugs and Kisses, The Gaylords

Congratulations Hava and Tadd! What incredible news. I’m sure little Miss Loen is very excited to be home with Mommy and Daddy, and that little Mr. Derbyman will follow along soon. Don’t forget, Fauxma D is just a phone call away! Our love and prayers are with you and your precious family. XOXO

Congratulations!
Few things are quite as terrifying as bringing the baby (ies) home. After all that time with the pros in charge, it makes you wonder what they’re thinking when they hand your baby over to your care. Aiee! But then once you get into your groove you wonder what you were afraid of.
Again, congrats! You’ve all come a long way.

Hi Tadd and Hava!
Congrats on Loen’s homecoming. I’m so happy to hear this. It’s such a journey that your family is on and what a mile marker this is. Yes, let’s get Derby to follow shortly.
Thank you for sharing your life with this website, I’m sure it will be a blessing to many others with similar experiences. Hava, you have such a talent for writing! You’re hilarious.

Ohhhhhhh!!! I am so happy!!!!! I have tears in my eyes thinking how wonderful it must finally be to have Loen home and out of the NICU. I can’t put into words how happy and excited I am for you guys. I think Derby will be jealous and will being saying “sayonara” to the NICU in short order.

Atta girl, Loen! I am proud of all of you! Derby won’t let that one-ups-menship stand for long. Heed that advice about sleeping when Loen and Derby do. That sleep depravation is serious business. God Bless! The quilts are coming!

I knew there was some reason you were on my mind today–hadn’t used the computer for over a week, but something seemed to tell me to check and what good news!!! Know it will be difficult to get used to, but you will have a chance to get one settled before Derby gets home. You still are in my prayers as I know you will need them. Much love to all.

Congratulations! What a wonderful, miraculous milestone…! I hope Loen is adjusting to her newly-defined princess lifestyle… getting a room all to herself and not having to share with her brother! Enjoy it while it lasts, little one
Best wishes to you all! We’ll be looking forward to Derby’s homecoming soon.
