Fancy Pants

January 21st, 2008 · 5 Comments

Derby had on a full blown outfit today. I was so proud and couldn’t get over how adorable (& completely kissable) he looked. I took a break and went down to the cafeteria to get some food. When I came back the outfit was off! The twins nurse was telling me how the waist band of his pants had gotten stuck to his ostomy bag and pulled it off, resulting in poop everywhere. In what is sure to be my favorite NICU line Li said “No more fancy pant for Derby” (you have to hear it in Li’s accent. It makes it all the better).

Oh well, he was quite stylish while it lasted.

And I cannot leave out my little Loen. Though she has been a fashion plate for sometime now

Nice pants! While they lasted. : )

Congrats on removing the cannula! So what is the remaining line?

You know, his cheeks are looking almost ripe for squeezing. I’m a cheek squeezer – just ask Emma.

Hey Parents! I haven’t checked in for awhile and am DELIGHTED to see how they have progressed!! I’m shocked Loen has caught up with Derby in weight – what a great thing. Their outfits are adorable; I hope to see them in person sometime soon!

And hopefully you’ll find something better to watch than Wife Swap… although the pickin’s aren’t too good right now… You’ll just have to hold those babies.

    Best!!

    Lori
