On Tadd’s real birthday (the 10th) I had to work, so he celebrated with his family. I was feeling a little left out so I decided to have some people over for a BBQ at our new place for Tadd. It was nice to hang out with friends and unwind. It was the best BBQ because I didn’t do anything! Others BBQ’d, Dee made baked beans and a german chocolate cake (Tadd’s favorite), Michelle made a chopped salad and Tamie & Don went to Costco for fruit and veggie platters. Now that is my kind of party.

My friend Jeni’s son Grady was born the beginning of September but he already looks like a toddler. It is going to be like that movie “My Bodyguard“. Grady will need to protect Derby from the Matt Dillon’s of the world. Unfortunately Jeni had to work that day and couldn’t make it (we are both RN’s on the same floor) but her husband came and had no problem letting all of us fawn over Grady.

Kurt & Grady (this is also the only picture I have of Matthew. Notice him hammin it up in the background)

Who knew the Lazy Boy would be such a hot property with the older boys. Andrew didn’t want to eat lest he lose his spot.

Things were going so well with Grady and Grant until there was a little altercation

Grady has this look of “What? What did I do?!”

Michelle bought Tadd a game called Smarty Party. One of the tag lines says “It is all about coming in last”. That is something they should know about because Tadd and Michelle are always behind Brent and I when we play trivia games. Michelle said it was something they would have a chance at. All I can say is BRING IT ON. (You can actually wear the little smarty pants)
