We meet yet again (if only for a couple of minutes). While I was holding Derby, Loen’s nurse Lee brought her over for a quick visit. It took a little wrangling as they had to stretch the wires to make it to us. I wish we could have gotten better pictures but the lights were down low. It was so wonderful to have them both in my arms, at the same time. They turned their heads into each other just like in the womb. It was beautiful.

And nice job on twinnage snuggling. So big! Four pounds and into actual cribs. That is awesome.
BTW, anything not done first by parents doesn’t count as a first. So saith the Hatchet! ; )

I love this post!! And HOW did I miss the last one?!? So great to see them together with their mommy!…and in big boy and big girl NICU cribs! Same thing happened to us with the “first bath”….I agree completely with Hatchet. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TADD!!

Hava – How wonderful to see both the babies in your lap! It won’t be long and they both will be pro’s at breastfeeding too – and how wonderful that will finally be for you! Patience…it does pay off!!

First birthday as a dad! Too cool. The twinkies look adorable. That’s the first and last time, probably, that they’ll lay together without hair pulling occurring. Oh, siblings.
