Loen is wearing the other outfit that the Hallocks got her for the first time. She looks adorable in it if I do say so myself. Tonight her nurse was getting ready to weigh her so she was undressed. The incubators the twins are in are very high tech. Or as one nurse referred to the Giraffe as “the Cadillac of incubators”. It can weigh them, able to position them for x-rays, monitor their temperature and adjust the heat settings. It is a pretty cool piece of equipment. To weigh the kids they push a button that tells them to pick up the baby, while the baby is in the air it calibrates the bed. Once the baby is back in the bed it can weigh the baby. Well here is Loen, naked, up in the air as the nurse is holding her. The nurse says “Oh, she is peeing on my hand”. We laugh as she places the baby back in the bed. The weight comes in and it looks a little off so the nurse decides to reweigh her. So back in the air Loen goes. Maybe all the up and down upsets her so she pees and then POOPS on the nurses hand. Tadd and I cannot believe this, our sweet delicate little girl is freely defecating on the hospital personnel. Let’s just say Loen went through 4 diapers in 5 minutes. How so much poop could go through such a little thing I will never know. They should have reweighed her because she must have lost a few ounces. We left the NICU shaking our heads at the sight of 4 dirty diapers on top of the incubator and a nurse with a little pile of poop on her hands. This will be a hilarious story when she is a teenager.

I used to have a leopard gecko that would do the exact same thing whenever you picked him up.
