Yesterday stuff happened. Things were going on. Loen was doing good, Derby had some issues (is that how it is going to be for the rest of their life?? Loen gets straight A’s in school, Derby has detention…Loen loses her library books, Derby is the teachers pet….) Anyways I don’t want to get into their issues at this time. All I want to say is that today they are stable and for that we give thanks. We are thankful for this day that we could see our babies and they were content. Then we went and ate (way too much) wonderful food with our friends and family.
When we came into the NICU this morning we saw new signs taped to the twins incubators. The respiratory therapist Stacy was being crafty last night. It was a wonderful surprise to see.
