“Cautiously Optimistic”

October 17th, 2007 · 3 Comments

Those were the words of the perinatologist this afternoon. He stated he was “cautiously optimistic”. My labs today were good, virtually unchanged from when I came in on Friday. No signs of infection, temp still normal. Taking one day at a time. Since I did not go into labor within the first 48 hours of Loen’s sac rupturing that was also a good sign. With all that the doctor said that we would get the steroid shots on Friday rather than Monday! I don’t want to get my hopes up but even the nurses seem to act like things are going ok. Everyones prayers and well wishes must be working.

Were taking it one day at a time…

Great news about the early shots, Hav! Keep an eye on that blood sugar (I suppose with your VIP treatment, someone will be doing that for you). I’m anxious to see your new slippers . . . they sound “fabu!” Sweet dreams. D

We keep checking back to the web page all day to see if anything has happened. If there was anything we could do to help from MN we would do it. Take care!

YESSSS…. – we’ll take “cautiously optimistic”, one day at a time. Wish I could hug and kiss you all – bunches of love. Hang in there.
