Today was our first OB appointment. Quite a mixture of surprise and happiness. Our calculated due date is February 12, 2007, but looks like it will be sooner than that. It would also explain why the pregnancy tests I took immediately turned positive. Watch the youtube video for the condensed version. Be sure to turn up the sound.

That was exactly my response! The incredulous, followed by semi-hysterical laughter, followed by crying.
It’s one thing to want to be pregnant. It’s entirely another to be told you have a surprise passenger! And we had joked about it, too.
Apparently that’s a big karmic no-no!
